If you are thinking of taking a camper van trip, you might be struggling to figure out where to rent your van from. If you are starting your trip in Arizona, I recommend using Arizona Camper Van. Though I have not tested out all the van companies in Arizona, I can speak to the outstanding customer experience I had with this company. Here is why they excel!
Responsiveness
There is so much to consider before leaving for your camper van trip. I had no idea what to expect, what to pack, and how hard it would be to drive a car of that size. Luckily, Arizona Camper Van made the process as smooth as possible by making themselves available via text. I probably sent Jesse (the owner) over 50 questions regarding the van. He responded to every single one in detail. If it is your first time planning a trip like this, having responsive owners to answer your questions is a huge help
Cost
From a cost standpoint, I found Arizona Camper Van cheaper than the more popular Boho Van. Additionally, I felt like the van had more features than the Boho Van. An alternative cheap option is Escape Camper Van however, their vans are very basic and provide much less than Arizona Camper vans.
Van Build
I rented the Madison Van (no longer in service), and I thought the van was built to perfection. Every little detail was accounted for; The van had curtains, containers to store stuff, a comfy bed, storage shelves, remote-controlled lights, a diesel heater, a shower, a cassette toilet, and so much more. Every van that the company offers is different, so look into what’s included. That being said, Arizona Camper Van knows how to build vans with great attention and detail! You can not go wrong with any of their vans!
Emergency Response
Everyone’s biggest fear when renting a camper van came true for us-we got into an accident! Though the accident was not our fault, we were stressed about the consequences of a destroyed van. Luckily, Arizona Camper Van comes with insurance which helped cover the costs of the damaged van. More importantly, however, was Jesses’ calmness during the entire experience. I was amazed to see Jesse more focused on our well-being, than the state of his van. All in all, I can say Arizona Camper Van handled a very stressful situation with class.
Overall
Passionate owners that are good genuine people make the best of businesses. This stands true for Jesse and Arizona Camper Van. It was clear to us that Jesse wanted to make sure we had the best time on our trip. He accommodated us when our flight was delayed, made a demonstration video for us to understand the van, and focused on our well-being during the accident experience! Not to mention, his vans are built with incredible attention to detail!
